Some good news for a beleaguered category from NPD.

Buoyed by demand for mom and dad on their special days, sales of fine fragrance in prestige channels finally got a boost, according to data from The NPD Group. Between Mother's Day and Father's Day, fragrance sets saw the highest volume in sales for the week ended May 30, according to NPD.
